Most job tools match your job title to a job title and send you the result. Giovanni reads the whole advert — the person specification, the registration requirements, the sponsorship wording — and reads what your CV can actually evidence. Then he tells you where you stand, including the parts he could not check.
Nothing here is hidden behind a paywall. The check is free, the alerts are free, and you will never be charged to be put in front of an employer.

A short form — most people finish it in under a minute. Name, how to reach you, where you are, your profession and your right-to-work position. No Candidate ID needed; we haven't given you one yet.

This is the step everything else runs on. Matching, alerts and assessments all read from your CV — so until you upload your CV, we cannot match you to roles, cannot send you alerts, and cannot assess you against a job.
Uploading it is also what starts your job alerts.
It does not need to be a perfect document. As long as your skills, experience and dates are clearly set out, that is enough. Don't hold off because you meant to tidy it up first — a plain CV that exists beats a polished one that doesn't. PDF or a clear photo both work.
You only do this once. If something changes later, send a new one and your profile is rebuilt from it.

What your CV genuinely evidences, where the gaps are, and what he could not verify. You can ask for a general read on your profile, or send a specific advert and get an answer about that role.
Both are free, and you can run a check whenever you like. The result comes back by email, usually within minutes.
Employers are reading a lot of applications that could have been written about anybody. Some have started saying so on the advert itself — asking, in so many words, to hear about you in your own words.
Giovanni's job on the free check is to point out which parts of your own experience look worth putting forward, and which claims he can't yet find evidence for. What's left is specific to you, and specific is what gets read.
A CV that says "safeguarding" is less useful than a CV that explains the kind of safeguarding work you have actually done. We look for the evidence behind the words, not just the words.
If you'd rather have a starting point to work from, there are optional extras — drafts you edit into your own voice. They're optional, and nothing about the free service depends on them.
The WhatsApp service is part of Bridgeway Connect, not a separate thing. Once you've signed up, Giovanni works from the same profile — so he already knows your locations, your documents and where your matches have got to.

Remember: to update your experience, add a qualification, or change anything else substantive, you need to send us an up-to-date CV. The menu cannot do that, and neither can the chat.

You can also just ask him a general question in your own words.
Giovanni reads the advert and your CV closely, and he shows his working — what he found, what he could not verify, and where he is unsure. That is a starting point for your own judgement, not a verdict on you.
Like any AI on the market, Giovanni can make mistakes. He can misread a CV. He can miss experience that is genuinely there but described in unfamiliar words, and he knows nothing about the things you have never written down. If he says you can't evidence something and you know that you can, you are right and he is wrong. Put it in — and send us an updated CV so he reads it properly next time.
We have built in as many accuracy and honesty safeguards as we can, and we keep adding to them. They reduce mistakes. They do not remove them. So read what comes back, check it against what you know to be true, and correct anything that is wrong before it goes out in your name.
Everything he produces is yours to accept, change or ignore. The application goes out in your name and in your words, and what it says is your call.
